Founded in 1959, Mpopoma High School is one of Bulawayo’s leading government secondary schools, offering a complete education pathway from Form 1 to Form 6. For decades, we’ve produced confident, disciplined, and academically excellent learners who go on to shine locally and internationally.

Strong Academics, Wide Subject Choice

We offer over 16 O-Level subjects, ranging from core academics to practical and technical fields like Metal Technology, Fashion & Fabrics, and Computer Science. At A-Level, students choose from Science, Commercial, and Arts streams — all designed to prepare them for university and real-world success.

In 2024, we proudly recorded a 96.2% A-Level pass rate, with 46 students scoring 15 points or more. Our consistent performance reflects the dedication of both staff and learners.
